Cam Clardy – 6’0 PG
Bridgeland High School | Class of 2020 | AAU: Tx Takeover Elite – Ned
Cam Clardy is a fast and quick point guard that has emerged as a leader for is team. He is aggressive in transition and forces an up paced tempo. As a result, he typically finds a way get to get an easy basket. His ability to change direction and speed keeps defenders off balance. Which is complimented by his ability to absorb contact around the rim. A quality passer, Cam is also great at creating for his teammates, especially when he gets into the teeth of the defense.
Reggie Comeaux – 6’4 Forward
Nimitz High School | Class of 2020 | AAU: Houston Bandits
Reggie is a walking double-double. He possesses a lot of the skills required to be a guard, but naturally, his build and athleticism makes him a force to be reckoned with as a forward. His energy and tenaciousness is absolutely contagious. Oftentimes, his effort on the defensive end leads to fast breaks and sparks runs. In addition, the force in which he dunks the ball and the power in which he blocks shots, adds to the level of intensity for his entire team. Reggie was definitely a stand out at the Run And Shoot Classic.
Willie Williams – 6’5 Forward
Westfield High School | Class of 2022 | AAU: Houston Bandits (15U)
Willie came into this AAU season already accomplished as one of the only freshman to make an All District team in Houston. This month, he has shown that he is ready to add to his list of accomplishments by dominating his level of competition. Willie is surprisingly agile for his size. He can be productive with either his back to the basket or facing up. Additionally, rebounding is not a problem for this kid and his outlet passing keeps his teammates engaged and ready to run. His footwork on the block is solid and he has extended his shooting range to where he can efficiently shoot the ball from around 15-18 feet.
Torreon Bergeron – 6’0 Guard
Spring High School | Class of 2019 | AAU: Tx Takeover Elite – Myron
This month, Torreon has proven that the art of the mid-range isn’t dead. Don’t get me wrong, he is an efficient shooter from three and he can finish at the rim, but he is deadly from mid-range. He keeps his head on a swivel which contributes to his vision. This allows him to move more freely because he recognizes where the help defenders are coming from. Then he assesses his options and get to areas of the court where he can score efficiently. Torreon has been impressive this month averaging nearly 20 points per game.
Hayden Ryals – 6’4 Guard / Forward
Deer Park High School | Class of 2020 | AAU: Third Coast Hurricanes
Hayden has more of a guard skill set than a forward. However, at the forward position, he creates a mismatch problem for other teams. When he is defended by smaller players, Hayden is able to take advantage of his size. With an already established, yet still developing, post-up game, his turn-around jumper is effective. He has good range so he stretches the floor when he plays on the perimeter. Also, he possesses a solid skill set concerning the fundamentals of the game. This helps him find cracks in the defense, create space and get his shots off.
