Scotland HS 2020 Forward Trevion Graham: Offensively he won’t wow you with what he can do on the floor but he is a player that can help his team in other ways. Providing an interior presence on the defensive end of the court as well as rebounding at a nice rate are some of the things he does well. To make it plain and simple we would classify him as a worker, he doesn’t take plays off and gives everything he has.
Westover HS 2020 Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw: Fresh off an offer from Radford University, he’s seemed to play the game with a different intensity and confidence. You don’t have to watch him for a long time to see why he is such an intriguing prospect, the upside is obvious.
Westover HS 2020 Guard Manas Drummond: It’s easy to see that he’s comfortable with running the show and is an efficient player that doesn’t turn it over often. His three point shooting is an asset that helps his team in a major way and the wonderful thing is that he shoots a good percentage and is not a volume shooter.
Cape Fear HS 2020 Guard Marquail James: You know his name already due to the fact that he was one of the leading scorers for public schools in the County last year. He has a quick first step, nice athletic ability and a knack for drawing fouls at a high rate. It will be interesting to see how things plays out for him this season as he will see all types of different defenses.
Cape Fear HS 2020 Wing Chase Dawkins: Solid role player for his squad, he’s the shooter on the team that can light it up once he gets going. Shooting off the dribble is not necessarily what he does the best but when you put him in catch and shoot situations, he is very effective and efficient.
Douglas Byrd 2020 Forward Raekwon Malone: He caught everybody in the gym off guard as he attempted to throw down a monster dunk over a defender in the paint. His workman type of mentality is something that we like, he fights for rebounds against bigger forwards and showed some flashes of a mid-range game.
