Southern Durham HS will be the location and the cost is only $10 which is a price that you can’t beat, so lets take a look at a few of the names should know prior to this game.
Athens Drive PG DJ Robertson: He’s headed to FAU next year and will be a player that should make an early impact, this type of game should be fun for him as he is an exciting player to watch. His speed, ballhandling skills and passing ability are all things that fans will enjoy.
Green Hope Forward PJ Fenton: Navy is getting a good one in Fenton as he is a player that can stretch the floor, knocking down the outside shot as well as playing inside some. His upside is outstanding and we feel that he is willing and ready to learn and improve.
Hillside Guard Traylen Warren: A player that is still unsigned at this point but should get an opportunity to play on the next level somewhere. The ability he has to play above the rim as well as being strong enough to embrace contact with physical play are all things that he does well.
Quality Education Guard El Ellis: One of the top scoring guards in the state, Ellis can go for 30/40 at any given point and takes matchups personally. We fully expect him to be a top guard that is recruited by MM and HM programs after he completes his two JUCO years at TCC.
Wakefield HS Guard Elijah Shabazz: Lenoir Rhyne got a good one as they recently got the commitment from Shabazz, he was very much under recruited and honestly it was a surprise to us. He has good size for a guard and does a bit of everything for his team on the court.
Millbrook HS Guard Phillip Burwell: He’s a player who stock has been rising at a pretty nice rate, he’s shown that he knows how to win games and can fill it up stat wise. Scoring and finding teammates are some of the things he does well, don’t be surprised to see him get it going in this game with the right matchup.
Durham School of Arts Guard Demecio Adams: Another very talented youngster that has flown under the radar, he has good size and a skillset that you have to be impressed with. Just taking a glance at some of the numbers he put up this past season, he had quite a few games where he filled up the stat sheet.
