Tyson Anderson 6’4 F / Westfield [Houston TopGuns] 2020
He is a force in the paint defensively. He wasn’t just altering shots, but he was blocking shots also. His timing with his athleticism makes him an interior warrior. Has a lot of bounce in his game. Good elevation on his jumper. He is a putback king with a good second bounce. Showed that he can knock down 15-footers as well. Finished a game with a triple-double 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Finished out the 3 games on Sunday with an average of 11.6 points per game, 12.6 rebounds per game, and 6.6 blocks per game.
Jason Garcia 5’11 PG / Jersey Village [Houston TopGuns] 2020
Great floor vision with some shiftiness in his game. He is patient with the ball in his hands. Displayed his high IQ as he was dropping dimes left and right on the floor. Has quick active hands on defense. Doesn’t get rattled by much despite the fact that he got hammered a couple of times he just popped up with a smile. He is a guard who will run through a wall for you. Finished the 3 game skid with 19.6 points per game, 5.6 assists per game, and 4.6 steals per game averages.
Kentrelle Royston 6’1 PG / Nimitz HS [North Houston Bandits] 2022
He is a bucket getter. Scored the ball on all levels on the floor. Quick Guard with a strong handle on the ball. Physical guard that gets downhill in a hurry. Active hands defensively came away with a handful of steals. He was giving opponents fits on the floor. He’s definitely one to keep on the radar. His team finished as the champions and he was by far the MVP of the tourney on the 15U level. Finished with averages of 26.6 points per game, 6.3 steals per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 4.3 assists per game.
Kristopher O’Neal II 6’0 PG / Hightower [Top Notch] 2020
Shot the ball well the entire game. Plays with a good motor. Moves well without the ball in his hands. Played solid defense and contained his opponent. Finished with 21 points in the title game and got the win. Overall he’s a tough guard with a solid build. Has a nice set jumper from deep. A physical defender who isn’t afraid to get in the mix.
Derrick Ardoin 6’3 WG /Pearland HS [Top Notch] 2020
This kid can shot the ball, he is a corner specialist from behind the arc. He was always in the right place at the right time. He’s a good energy guy who builds up player morale. He finished well around the rim also. In the title game, he finished with 18 points and knocked down 4 trey balls.
Cameron Collins 6’6 SF / Hightower [Top Notch] 2020
A long and athletic wing that has a good handle on the ball. He may have to play as the big on his team but don’t be fooled this guy will stretch you out. He can score the ball at all three levels on the floor. Very proficient in the mid-range game. Finishes at a high rate around the rim. Has a long wingspan and showcased his good lateral movement as he guarded the 1-4 positions on the floor. Finished the title game with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
