Continue ReadingWe take a look at some of the players in the 2021 class that we feel have raised their stock so far and those that will have a chance to in June. The state is full of talented players in the C/O of 2021 and we are excited about the potential they have to be special .
Team Wall 2021 Guard Cinque Lemon: He has quietly been putting together some impressive performances over the past few years and now he is turning even more eyes about what he can possibly be. He has plenty of the tools that you love to see from a Guard on the next level. Size , athletic ability , scoring and coachability are all attributes that he possess.
Team Wall Big East Guard Bennie Brooks: We saw him put up some monster numbers at East Carteret throughout the past season so we knew it was only a matter of time before he broke out this summer. Sure enough he had a breakout last weekend as we got multiple reports of him dropping 45 points at Big Shots Rocky Mount.
Royal Knights Guard Javonte Waverly: During the HS season he averaged just under 17 PPG and was a player that came up big for his squad throughout the season. Well the summer time has been no different , he has played very well , showing his ability to do what he does regardless of the situation and colleges are clearly starting to notice.
Pinecrest Guard Bradlee Haskell: He’s not playing on a sneaker circuit or anything of that nature so the next month will be huge for him. His high school season was very successful and he will have the chance to play in front of D1 coaches with his high school team which should show his true strengths.
910 Vengeance Guard Daymon Beckwith : Anytime you have a player that plays with an older group and has moments of dominance , you have to be impressed. That’s exactly what you will see from Mr. Beckwith , he’s a gifted scorer of course and playing with older players will only help his game. We should see a rise in his stock over the remainder of the summer and heading into his junior season.
Leesville Road Guard Chase Hakerem: He has been one of the more consistent players week in and week out in the state . You know he’s going to play with heart, knock down shots and compete every single time he steps on the floor. Going at in practice with one of the top juniors in the state is also something that we love as it will only help his game grow.
