Our Finals notes features some of the younger talent that was in the building for Big Shots Greensboro. It would be wise to take notice of these guys as they will be some of the guys that college coaches will need to pay attention to in the near future.
Team Felton 2021 Guard KJ Garrett: He shows plenty of the attributes that you want to see from a PG at the next level. Although he has the ability to score the ball when needed, he looks to get teammates involved first and foremost which is something that will help him transition smoothly to the next level.
910 Vengeance 2021 Forward Aaron Oates: We like what he can possibly be from an upside prospective. He has some size , wingspan and touch
910 Vengeance 2021 Guard Jaylon Armstrong: He’s not the tallest player but you have to like what he brings on both sides of the ball. On defense he gets after it , applying pressure and doing a great job of recovering when opponents get past him . Offensively he doesn’t settle for jumpers but attacks the basket , however when the opportunity presents itself , he knocks down some shots.
910 Vengeance 2021 Guard Daymon Beckwith: He started off the day with a somewhat slower scoring performance but it doesn’t take away from the fact that he can fill up the scoring stat book in a hurry. Regardless of the defensive scheme and pressure, he gets by his man and into the paint to make plays.
NC Ice 2021 Guard Ryan Roberts: Buckets, buckets and more buckets, is what you will get to see from this young man. In the matchup we saw he was matched up with Team Felton and he showed that he can score at a very high level against other players who are considered D1 prospects. His ability to shoot the ball as well as break down defenders with ease are both attributes that we really like.
Team Wall 2022 Forward Davis Molnar: We were introduced to the talent of this young man during his freshman year at Terry Sanford and he is only getting better over time. He can shoot it very well from deep but plays the game with a toughness that you have to like, he battles, rebounds and uses his height to be a force in the interior.
