Transfer Alert: Pac-12 Prospect on the Move
Less than 4 months ago, we broke the news that junior prospect, Kendall Munson, made his way to Washington after transferring from Capital Christian High School in Sacramento, California. The 6’8 forward joined Puyallup’s roster in December and made an instant impact for the Vikings. He helped lead Puyallup to a 6th place finish in the WIAA 4A State Tournament and picked up 3 D1 offers along the way. The University of Washington was one of the three schools to offer, after watching Kendall’s outstanding rebounding efforts and growing offensive skill set. Kendall’s recruitment is really picking up and he is on the radar of multiple top schools all along the west coast.
The Pac-12 recruit is on the move again and it has been confirmed to Prep Hoops that Kendall Munson is attending national powerhouse, Rainier Beach High School. While rumors of this move have been circulating for sometime, he is now officially enrolled and attending classes. He will join another highly sought after junior recruit in Marjon Beachamp. Rainier Beach had an up and down season last year by their lofty standards, but it appears they will once again restock with the talent to make a run for the 3A state championship.
You can catch Kendall playing with the ML20 Enforcers this spring and summer. They took first place in the Rotary NETS Showcase a couple weekends ago and most recently finished 3-1 in the adidas Gauntlet in LA. Kendall averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds, while shooting nearly 74% from the field in the first session of the Gauntlet.
