Quote From The Coach
“This team just kept getting better as the weekend continued on and that was no surprise since we were only able to get the team together once before this tournament, so much of the early games were about finding the right combinations and guys learning how to play together. In the games that we played well, we used our strengths, which our ability to defend with pressure, rebound and then turn those into points through our transition offense game.
Blake Cassidy was one of our key offensive contributors and his ability to get to the rim and then step back and shoot the 3 makes him a real offensive threat. Then Tipp Baker and Andy Soma do a real nice job running the point and getting ball distributed to where it needs to be as well as locking down our opponents best offensive threat. Parker Neu really started to make his presence know on the inside as the weekend went on and we look for him to really solidify our inside game.” – Coach Cassidy
