Devon Arlington 2022 / 6’3 PG / San Marcos HS (CA) [Game Point]
Nice handle on the ball controls the flow of the offense for his team. Has a solid frame for his young age. He has a strong attack to the rim. He was also able to get his teammates involved in the game. Plays with a high motor. Solid awareness on both ends of the floor. Also rebounded the ball well.
Vincent Signorelli 2022 / 5’10 G / Santa Fe Christian (CA) [Game Point]
This young prospect can flat out shot the ball. He is a player that you don’t want to leave open on the floor. Though he currently stands under six feet, he is a great catch and shoot prospect. Moves good without the ball in his hands. He doesn’t have a set shot either. Great elevation on his shot.
Truman Claytor 2022 / 6’4 SF / Overhills HS (NC) [Team Wall]
This prospect has a solid frame on him. Finishes at a high rate around the rim. He also knocked down a trey ball. Bully ball mentality the way he attacks the rim. Took it coast to coast on several possessions. Has decent lateral movement. Active hands defensively. Rebound’s the ball very well and boxes out his opponent. Was arguably the best wing that I’ve seen on that day in the two games that everyone played.
Robbie Cass 2022 / 5’8 PG / Aiken HS (OH) [Apex Basketball Club]
Has a good mid-range package and long ball shot. Great catch and shot player. He leaks out quickly on every shot and gets out in transition quickly. Scrappy on-ball defender with good lateral movement. Has good ball dribbling speed, and quick ball handling. Showed flashes of a dominant point on both ends of the floor. Once he learns how to keep it turned on at all times his recruitment will take off.
Chance Davis 2022 / 6’4 WG / Purcell Marian HS (OH) [Apex Basketball Club]
He is a good on-ball and off-ball defender. Has excellent lateral movement. He was able to guard the smaller guards as well as the bigger opponents. Long and athletic wing with a long wingspan. Had 5 blocked shots and 3 steals in each games on Saturday. They say defense is becoming a lost art, however this prospect takes pride in defense. His defensive motor is excellent and will make him a great addition in the future for any collegiate program.
Caden Harris 2022 / 6’3 SG / Mount Si HS (WA) [Team Lavine]
Has a strap on him. He is also a play initiator. Solid both on and off the ball on the offensive end. Made both contested and uncontested shoots. Defensively he is very vocal and was flying all over the court. Hands down he was the best two-guard in the 15U age division on the Gauntlet this weekend. He knocked down a total of 9 trey balls in the two games on Saturday. If he was a sleeper he isn’t anymore.
Austin Benigni 2022 / 5’10 PG / Texas Christian HS (TX) [P.B. Nation YIIS]
This prospect was the best floor general on the 15U level of the Gauntlet that I seen. Was able to get wherever he wanted whenever he wanted to on the floor. He got his teammates involved in the game. Had some nasty dimes. Made a lot of tough contested shots and finished well around the rim. Plays with a high motor. Chippy guard that can get in his opponents head.
Chanse Perkins 2022 / 6’4 SF / Texas Christian HS (TX) [P.B. Nation YIIS]
A wing that plays big on the floor. Get’s in the mix and after the 50/50 balls. Rebounded the ball very well in both games pulling down over 8 boards each time. Finished around the rim and set some solid screens both on and off the ball. Showed good lateral movement and locked up a couple of smaller guards when they switched on him. He was also a force in the paint defensively altering and blocking shots.
