2021’s:
• Jackson Izzard
Photo Credit: Alder Basketball Twitter(6’2” / SG 2021 / Jonathan Alder): Izzard really broke onto the scene this past high school season. A guard that can score from all levels, and just handles himself well. Adding a lot to his off the bounce game, Izzard has grown noticeably in the past year and his game shows that. A player that can go out and get 18+ a night, fairs well for the Pioneers. As he continues to grow, Jackson is going to keep improving tremendously. The Alder guard will definitely up his all-around game, by the time junior season rolls around.
• Henry Hinkle (5’10” / PG 2021 / Olentangy Liberty): Henry Hinkle came on as the season progressed, and showed some knockdown shooting ability. Liberty is going to have a lot to replace with their top-two players graduating. I believe Hinkle can take on some of that load, with his shooting, and quickness. The quick guard has shown some ability to be a pest on defense, which he will improve on. Adding a little size and strength this season, would do numbers for the sophomore heading into the fall and winter.
• Casey George (5’9” / PG 2021 / Pickerington North): Casey George showed flashes for the Panthers this past season. A guard with quickness to affect the game on both ends, George can go. Scoring off the dribble is a go-to in his bag, that has been consistent. Expect the 2021 prospect to grow alongside the rest of this Pick North team that has big potential.
• Keaton Norris (5’9” / G 2021 / Hilliard Bradley): Keaton Norris you can just tell is a son of a coach. Plays the game with great poise, and plays hard on both ends. Can handle the ball when needed, but isn’t often with teammate Matt Allocco along side. Norris is a very good shooter, that can knock it down at a high clip. I believe that Norris is a break out candidate, that will up his numbers tremendously.
• Eli Burke (5’10” / PG 2021 / Africentric): Eli Burke is a player to watch over the next year. Getting his chance his sophomore season, Burke was solid. The 2021 guard knows how to run an offense, and keep teammates in the mix of things. The 5-foot-10 guard uses a virtue of dribble combos to get to the basket and create space. A capable shooter that can knock it down, Burke is a threat from inside or out. Eli Burke is really going to improve on his sophomore season, and it’s going to be a joy to watch.
