Mansfield is shooting lights out early on in the quarter. Three straight trey balls force Wagner to call a timeout 13-3. Mansfield came out of the timeout and picked up right where they left off. Rodrigo Soares is all over the floor doing everything. Wagner started off hot in the second quarter and they’re play allowed them to crawl back into the game. Wagner comes out on another run to start the third quarter. They have closed the gap and brought the game under 10 points. This was another big quarter for Wagner. Their defense was the reason why they have fought back into the game. The fourth quarter was a game of will and determination. Both teams played aggressively and a little more patient on offense. Wagner went on a (2:30) scoring drought before scoring again. The Wolves were just too much for the Thunderbirds.

Plays with a great motor. Very quick guard that can shoot the long ball. Good lateral movement on the defensive end. He was able to penetrate the lane. Later in the game, he played with multiple speeds and controlled the tempo. Finished with 24 points and 2 steals. Shot 7/14-FG, 3/4-3FG, and 7/9-FT. He earned MVP of the State Game. He currently holds an offer from Western Texas College [JuCo]. Would be a great addition D2/D3/NAIA/JuCo.

Was playing like a man among boys. Has a solid frame. Was able to beat his opponent off the dribble every time. Has a great dribble/skill package to create space. He has a quick release on his jump shot. Plays aggressively on the defensive side of the ball. He got into early foul trouble. Finished with 13 points and 4 rebounds. Shot 4/7-FG, 3/6-3FG, and 2/2-FT. He has a couple of JuCo offers on the table right now. Would be a great addition D1 Low-Major/D2/D3/NAIA/JuCo.
