Elkins was off to a hot start. Knocking down three trey balls in a matter of [1:30]. But the turnovers that the Knights were committing kept the Mustangs in the game. North Shore ended the quarter with a nasty oop. North Shore came out with a quick bucket to start the second quarter. Elkins answered back with a run of 6 straight points. From that point on they were trading buckets. As the buzzer sounded for halftime. Stretch finishes with a nasty layup through traffic. Elkins comes out with 7 straight buckets to start the third period. Pushing the lead to 14 points which would be there biggest of the game. The Mustangs started there dismantling of the Knights from that point on. With the Knights up by 3 as the seconds were winding down. The Mustangs great ball movement finds a open KJ Smith who drills the deep three to tie the game up and force it into overtime. In overtime, the Mustangs played with more of an edge and sealed the game.

Joshua Cooper 5’10 PG / North Shore / 2020
Played solid in the second half of the game. The first half of the game he had some bad possessions. Finished some tough layups in the lane through traffic. Played decent on-ball defense. Had some nice passes which got his team involved. Finished with 18 points and 4 assist in the game. Shot 3/8-2FG, 1/3-3FG, and 9/12-FT.
Bruce Scott 6’2 SG / North Shore / 2019
He’s not the quickest guard on the floor, but he has a solid skill set. He has a quick release on his shot. Needs to improve ball handling skills. Very active on the defensive side of the ball. Active hands. Gets after loose balls. Finished the game with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assist. Shot 3/8-2FG, 2/7-3FG, and 4/5-FT. He would be a great addition to a D3/NAIA/JuCo roster.
Jalen Means 6’7 PF / North Shore / 2019 [Jacksonville–JuCo]
He was always in the right places at the right time. Great rim runner, who runs his lanes great. He is bouncy with a nice second jump. He caught a nasty alley, and also had a monstrous two-handed throw down. Long post who alters shots. Finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 block. Shot 5/6 from the field.
Keiman Capers 6’5 PF / North Shore / 2019 PHTX200
Plays physical the entire game. Has the capability to play from the wing. Utilizes a hook shot from the post. He also uses his body to gain position. Has good timing defensively on his jumps. Active on the glass. Finished with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Shot 2/6-2FG and 3/4-FT. Plays bigger than his size. Good fit for a D3/JuCo.
Donovan Williams 6’5 SG / Elkins / 2019 [Texas] PHTX200
Played solid from tip-off until he fouled out of the game. Shot the ball well from behind the arc. Had a nasty step back off the dribble over the defender for three. Finished well at the rim and through traffic. Was active on the boards. Had some nice block shots also. Finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Shot 3/10-2FG, 3/4-3FG, and 6/6-FT.
Tyler Callegari 6’3 F / Elkins / 2019
He is a glue guy for his team. Impacted the game in all the big moments. Solid defensively the entire game, Picked up offensively in the second half. Went coast to coast on a couple of drives. Good ball screens. Moved around the floor the entire game. Finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Shot 6/8-2FG and 4/7-FT. He is a Solid D3/JuCo prospect.
Collin Warren 6’4 SG / Elkins / 2019 PHTX200
Played hard the entire game. Had some tough finishes at the rim. Had a breakaway dunk off a steal at a crucial point in the game. Played solid defensively with great lateral movement the entire game. Has a nice handle on the ball. He can run point if needed. Finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assist in the game. Shot 3/7-2FG, 3/5-3FG, and 2/4-FT. He currently has three D1 offers.
Jacolbi Harris 5’10 PG / Elkins / 2021
Has a great midrange package. When shooting from the midrange he scores at 85%. Has a strong handle on the ball. Plays hard nosed defense. A pesky defender who will guard the best ball handler at all times. Has good offensive IQ as well, and gets his teammates involved in the game. Finished with 7 points, 4 steals, and 4 assist. Shot 3/5-FG, 0/2-3FG, and 1/3-FT.
