The 6-foot-1 guard is known mostly for his shooting prowess. And he’s working now to improve as an all-around player for the Panthers.
“I like shooting, that’s mostly my strength is I can shoot the 3-ball really well,” said Sudweeks. “I could work on getting a couple more assists and a couple more rebounds, and help out on the defensive end more.”
Pine View is getting set for the second round of playoffs, they play Ottoville Thursday night.
Sudweeks figures to be a key factor in that game, he’s averaging 11.8 points per game this season.
When his junior season is finished, he says he might play with a club team this spring and summer. And he’ll definitely be active with his Pine View squad this summer. Sudweeks says he hopes to see his recruitment ramp up a bit over the next six months.
Last summer Sudweeks says Utah State, Dixie State, Southern Utah have watched him play and talked with him.
“That’d be awesome if I got recruited, I’ve always wanted to play college ball. There’s been a little bit of interest in me, but not much,” said Sudweeks.
“I’ve improved a lot from last year to this year, and hopefully I can do the same this year.”
