The 6’9 Guard has a skillset that you don’t normally see from a player his size, he can knock down shots from deep, get into the paint at a high rate and finish above the rim. HM programs that haven’t already given Mr. Hall a look should do so ASAP, as he is one that we feel will be a great addition to a college program on and off the court.
Lumberton Guard Jordan McNeill: 21 Points and 8 Rebounds a night is what Jordan brings to the table for the Lumberton Pirates. His scoring ability has been clear since his freshman year but one of the better traits about him is his ability to rebound the basketball. He does a nice job of finding a body when the shot goes up and battling with opponents for rebounds regardless of their size. We are shocked that some Low Major programs have not begun to take notice yet but would advise this level of programs to watch closely.
Walkertown Guard Jalen Cone: His scoring numbers this season are not as gaudy as prior years but he is showing a more complete game as his assist are higher. 26 PPG is impressive immediately but the 6.6 Assist numbers are something that we love from Cone as it shows that he is a true dual threat guard. His team record this year is solid at 15-6 and he is showing all the tools that you love to see from a PG prospect. His recruitment is still wide open and we won’t be shocked to see a program like Wake Forest step up their interest in him.
Farmville Central Guard Justin Wright: He’s putting up some of the best numbers of any player in the state which includes wins as his squad is 20-0 so far. On a nightly basis he is putting up close to triple double numbers and went for 43 points, (11 made treys in 3quarters) recently. We love how many different things he can do from the guard position: rebounding, passing, scoring, defending are all things he does well and what we feel will only help him transition to the next level.
First Flight HS Guard Dylan Blake: At just under 23 Points and 5 Rebounds a night, he is showing more than just his shooting abilities this season. We have seen him attack the basket, find teammates, defend at a solid level and he’s had multiple games with double digit rebounding. Some D2 programs have already offered and it will be interesting to see how things go for him this AAU season as well as senior year recruitment wise.
Pender HS Guard Jajuan Carr: Scoring the ball is what he does and that’s been the case this season as he is averaging just under 22 PPG. The athletic ability he has makes him a player that people love to watch due to the fact that once he gets out into transition, it’s going to be a show. He has the tools to be a solid defender when he locks in and that’s the next step for him that we will be watching closely.
