Stock Risers
Malik Tyson (Sparkman): Malik’s play has elevated him into the top 10 of the class and has answered any questions about his ability to play at the D1 level.
JP Robinson (Deshler): Robinson has been playing with a chip on his shoulder. He is currently second in the state in scoring. He may be a smaller point guard (5’10), but he can flat out play.
Indrek Sunelik (Nation Prep): Sunelik has been turning heads. His development has earned him several D1 offers and interests from others. At 6’6, Sunelik can play multiple positions and score at every level.
BJ Comer (Prattville Christian): Comer’s play has earned the attention of several D1 programs. Teams that have a scholarship to fill should have this scoring point guard on the list.
Players to Watch
Eddie Smith (Huffman): Smith has been a steady consistent force for Huffman. The 6’2 combo guard has averaged just under 19 points per game, and has been solid on the defensive end.
Anthony Brown (Midfield): Brown has been a double double machine. He has several 20/20 games under his belt this season. Brown plays with a high motor and does not shy away from contact.
Zyon Smith (Park Crossing): Smith has good size at 6’2-6’3 to play both guard spots. Smith is a natural scorer. He recently posted a 40 point performance, and is showing people he belongs at the next level.
New Faces
Micah Fallin (Cleveland): Fallin is a very athletic guard and the leader for Cleveland. With his size (6’2) and athleticism, he could play all three perimeter spots. Fallin would fit in well at the D2 or NAIA level.
JC Norris (Huntsville): Norris is one of the better shooters of the class. He is a team player, and has a well rounded skill set. Norris is a definite college prospect. For the right system, Norris has value.
Antonio Thomas (Shades Valley): Thomas has excellent size at 6’4 to play both the 2 and 3. He has deep range and finishes well at the rim. His shooting ability and size will have him on a roster somewhere.
