12 Days of Christmas
A lot has been going on through the first two months of the season. There are several post holiday tournaments on tap. There is plenty to be thankful for and to look forward to through the holiday schedule.
On the 12th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 12 double doubles in 12 games from Midfield’s Anthony Brown (2019).
On the 11th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 11 state players averaging over 22 points per game.
On the 10th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 10 state players averaging over 2 blocks per game.
On the 9th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 9 state players averaging over 10 rebounds per game.
On the 8th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 8 first round games of the Huntsville City Classic
On the 7th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 7 different classes represented in the PrepHoops Alabama Power rankings.
On the 6th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 6 games Tommy Murr (2020) scored over 50.
On the 5th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 5 steals per game from Deshler’s JP Robinson (2019).
On the 4th day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 4 schools remaining on 5 star Trendon Watford’s list…. Memphis, Alabama, Indiana, and LSU.
On the 3rd day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 3 state players averaging over 6 assists per game.
On the 2nd day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 2 straight seasons of Tommy Murr (2020) leading the nation in scoring (41.9 ppg).
On the 1st day of Christmas, basketball gave to us: 1 Mountain Brook upset of IMG Academy at the City of Palms Classic.
