Recruiting Report: Olivier Nkamhoua (2019)
Olivier Nkamhoua, a 6-foot-9 forward from Bishop Walsh, is currently ranked as the best available big in the state of Maryland. Nkamhoua, who is a dynamic talent, is working daily on his shooting, which looked good during his team’s recent scrimmage.
“Not yet,” he replied when asked if that was the most improved part of his overall game. “It’s gonna be.”
Nkamhoua stated that his confidence, ability to drive to the basket and use his left hand are the most improved aspects of his overall game. He has size which allows hims to see the court well, and is a very good passer. Three schools are currently keeping in close contact with Nkamhoua, who has a 3.6 GPA, and is coveted for his versatility.
“Right now I hear from St. Joe’s and Siena. Also Binghamton,”
Nkamhoua says his short term goal is to win as many games as he can with his team, and continue to get good grades all year round. His long-term goal is to play high major division one college basketball. What can he bring to a program at the next level?
“I can bring versatility.”
