The 15U Top 10 (July Update II)
Just as we did with the 16s, our are extended by five teams this week. Reason being, we have enough data points and therefore we’ll show love to as many teams as possible.
Before scrolling down, we need to clear some things up on the top two, Tru Game and the Pumas. First of all, we made a mistake in last week’s write-up on Tru Game. They were 2-2 at the E15 Challenge, not 1-3. The made it to the Elite 8 that weekend.
Then, the Pumas were eliminated from our 15U rankings entirely, because that team had merged with their 16U Elite team. While that line-of-thinking may make sense, there’s no reason to abolish their spring performance from the website. They’re not playing any more, but what was done at the 15U level should be recognized. At the end of the day, the Pumas’ 2021 prospects moved up to play at a different age level, which is no reason to penalize Ohio’s clear no. 2.
On the other side of the hierarchy, Shining Star Price is knocking on the door.
