Class of 2019 outlook in Dayton

The Class of 2019 has no shortage of scorers in the Dayton area. Several of the guys listed reached the 1,000 point scored for their career during last high school season while others will try to achieve the same feat come December. Many of these players will look to have big summers during AAU season. Here is a look at some of Dayton’s top 2019 prospects in no specific order.
Samari Curtis (Xenia)- 30 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds per game; high scoring guard that gets his points at the rim and in the midrange; commited to Xavier.
Amari Davis (Trotwood-Madison)- 21 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals per game; lengthy athletic guard that creates turnovers with ease; plays like a D1 prospect.
Andre Gordon (Sidney)- 23 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds; athletic guard with great offensive skill; improved his midrange game from last year; could play football or basketball at collegiate level, but has chosen to pursue basketball.
Shaunn Monroe (Fairborn)- 21 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds per game; much improved guard; 3PT % increased from 31% to 43%.
Justin Stephens (Trotwood-Madison)- 8 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks per game; low post defensive forward. Likely will play football at next level.
Malachi Matthews (Trotwood-Madison)- 9 points, 3 rebounds, 45% 3PT; Sharpshooting guard that excels in catch-and–shoot situations.
Ryan Hall (Fairmont)- 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists; athletic guard that handles pressure well and rebounds exceptionally.
C.J. Napier (Fenwick)- 15 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists; saw improvement in his outside shooting from last season, but is still one of the top rebounders in SW Ohio.
Michael Kreill (Butler)- 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists; pass first guard that handles defensive pressure extremely well.
Kellan Bochenek (Fairmont)- 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists; defensive guard that showed great offensive shooting skill this past season.
Milton Gage (Chaminade-Julienne)- 17 points 6 rebounds, 3 assists; very athletic guard, excels off the dribble. One of the better on the ball defenders in the GCL.
Ratez Roberts (Sidney)- 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks; strong forward that can put up double-double on any given night.
Sam Towns (Springfield)- 5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist; taller guard that likes to play outside the arc; does well at attacking the rim off the dribble as well.
Jack Clement (Bellefontaine)- 16 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds; do-it-all guard that excels especially on the offensive end.
Adonis Davis (Emmanuel Christian)- 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists; under-the-radar small forward, should step up into a bigger role next season.
Levi McMonigle (Madison)- 8 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks; great around the rim, struggled a bit this season due to missing half the year due to OHSAA transfer rules.
Ronnie Hampton (Wayne)- 8 points, 3 assists, 3 steals; proven defensive guard; showed glimpses of being an off the dribble offensive weapon.
Connor Bazelak (Alter)- 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists; saw great improvement in his 3PT shooting , also being recruited as QB by several high major D1 schools in football.
Jake Gudorf (Brookville)- 11 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds; extremely talented point guard, does a tremendous job of setting up teammates to score.
Sabien Doolittle (Catholic Central)- lengthy 2 guard, excels in attacking the rim. Will step up next season as a senior.
Erik Uszynski (Legacy Christian)- 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists; will step up into bigger role next season, great offensive weapon around the rim.
Damonte Bailey (Ponitz)- 17 points, 12 rebouns, 2 blocks; great inside presence on both ends of the floor, difference maker.
Ethan Conley (Franklin-Monroe)- 22 points, 7 rebounds, 52% FG; all around talented offensive guard. One of the top player in Division IV.
Michael Berner (Springboro)- 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists; under the radar post player; big and physical.
RaHeim Moss (Springfield)- 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists; strong guard can attack from the perimeter as well as off the dribble. Also a D1 football prospect.
