All First Team GMC
F- Darius Bazley/Princeton High School***- Named a McDonalds All-American in February, Bazley is our pick for conference POY. The Syracuse commit finished number one in the conference in assist, rebounds and blocked shots. The versatility with which Darius plays with is what makes him so valuable on the court.
W- Noah Pedelty/Mason High School- Besides the before mentioned Bazley this young man is the most versatile player in the league. Noah finished in the top 10 in the league in points, assist, blocks, and steals. This athletic senior has some D-II and III interest at the.
C- E.J. Williams/Middletown High School- The big fella returned to the Butler County and immediately made a difference for the Middies. Williams averaged 14.6ppg on 62.6% shooting from the floor, with the latter being good enough for 2nd in the conference. E.J. has a ton of D-I interest and on January 20th received an offer from Toledo.
W/G- Jarrett Cox/Lakota East High School- For the 2nd straight season the Fairmont State commit lead the conference in scoring at over 18ppg. The senior also finished 5th in the conference in rebounding at 6.3 per game. Jarett is one of the better pure scorers in the Cincinnati area.
G- Darweshi Hunter/Princeton High School- What an outstanding senior season it was for the Vikings guard. Hunter averaged 17.1ppg (2nd in the GMC) with a shooting split of 55/43/81. Darweshi has several offers at the D-II level along with interest at the low-major D-I level.
G- D’Marco Howard/Hamilton High School- This is name you will want to pay attention too over the AAU season. This class of 2019 guard increased his scoring from 10.9 in 2016-17 to 17.5 this season which was good enough for 4th in the conference. Howard also finished tied for 9th in rebounds (5.4) and 3rd in steals (1.9).
PG- Tanner Knue/Mason High School- One of the best floor generals in Cincinnati, Tanner finished in the top ten in scoring (9th, 13.7), assist (5th, 2.8) and steals (T-1st, 2.2). The senior also showed he was a capable jump shooter knocking down 43% of his three-point attempts last season. Knue would be a great fit for D-III/NAIA program.
