Northstar Weekly Honors: Drew Sagedahl
Making 10 consecutive threes in one game is not something you see every day.
Drew Sagedahl of BOLD did it against Montevideo on Jan. 5. We nominated him for Northstar Weekly Honors, and his fans and friends responded.
After grabbing more than 6,000 votes (61%), the freshman shooter has locked up this week’s Northstar Weekly Honors, presented by Intensive Basketball Camps.
“Drew adds a dimension to our offense that is much needed in that he can space the floor and the other team has to respect his shot from anywhere on the floor,” said BOLD coach Jake Brustuen. “He is an extremely smart player who plays bigger than his size. He hasn’t hit a growth spurt quite yet but that does not stop him from competing against anybody on the floor.”
So did the streak continue into the next game?
“Drew unfortunately missed his first 3 of the next game, but went on to make 5-12 from 3 in that game for us,” Brustuen added.
The BOLD staff raves about Drew’s potential and predicts “he is a name we think will be heard much more in the next four years.” Congrats to Drew, and thank you to Intensive Basketball Camps!
