Myron Williams pulls down his 1,000th Rebound
It is often that we see a high school player reach the plateau of 1,000 points over their high school career. So hearing about a player reaching that amount of points is always nice but it is not necessarily a huge surprise for many. However Myron Williams has accomplished something that is a bit more impressive, just this past week he pulled down his 1,000th rebound at Cape Fear HS. What’s even more impressive? Myron is only 6’5 and even though he is a solid athlete , he is not pulling down rebounds by simply jumping over people.
Personally I’ve had the privilege of watching Myron play over the years and each time I see him play , I’m always impressed with how much effort he brings when he rebounds the ball. He brings effort on the court , regardless of what team that they may be matched up with. To make a long story short, he is a player that you would define as a double/double machine, you know that he is going to get you 10+ rebounds each game as well as scoring in double figures. We got a chance to talk to Myron recently about his accomplishment and some of the things that helps him to be an outstanding rebounder.
