Mt. Tabor Dynamic Duo PC: WS Journal
Head Coach Andy Muse of Mt. Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina has been around the game for a while, he knows what it takes to get wins in one of the toughest leagues in the country. He has been getting help this season from 2019 guard Quest Aldredge and 2018 guard Isaiah Wilkins.
Aldredge is a long guard at 6-foot-5 and has all the intangibles needed at the next level. He is a scoring guard that can get to the basket when he wants and can shoot it consistently. He can run the offense and is very good in transition at finding the open man. He keeps his head on a swivel and can make the defense miss, he can make the difficult passes look easy. He is a legitimate threat to knock down the three-point shot at anytime.
6-foot-4 shooting guard Isaiah Wilkins is a solidly build guard that can finish with contact getting to the basket. He is under-control and can move well without the ball. He does a really good job of running the floor and can score with the ball in his hands. He uses his strength to get into the paint and score against bigger players.
The dynamic duo has helped lead Mt. Tabor to a 12-3 record so far this season and a 4-1 mark in the Piedmont Triad conference. They take on Southwest Guilford HS tonight in what should be one of the best games of the season against the defending NCHSAA state champs.
