Meet The Player: Quinn Siazinski
Q: How has the experience at The Hoops & Dream Showcase been for you and your team?
Quinn: It’s been a good experience, this is our first game, we came and played a good game, it was a good crowd as well so overall it’s been pretty good.
Q: What do you feel as far as a team and personally was something that you could learn from the game today?
Quinn: It’s been good, we have been practicing since the first day we got here, and I feel like we really have a good team when it comes to us playing together. We have a lot of good pieces so this was a good chance for us to learn more about together but also learning how to put teams away is something we can do better. We were up by 13 at halftime and ended up winning by 12 or 13 so we just have to learn how to put teams away and step on the throats as soon as we get the chance.
Q: Huntington Prep is always a program that has a very tough schedule, is that something that made going there intriguing since it would kindve help you prepare for college?
Quinn: Oh yea for sure, this is my first year here at Huntington Prep and I saw all the past success that they had, coming to Huntington Prep I knew what I was getting myself into, I love competition and you’re playing the top teams in the country so I knew it would get me better and ready for the next level.
Q: What’s your college recruitment looking like?
Quinn: I haven’t made a list or anything yet but there are a lot of schools, a lot of offers. I’m just sitting back right now and letting things come at me, I’m not making too many decisions right now when it comes to my recruiting process but I’m just enjoying the process right now.
