Flight 22 Jamboree Standouts: Final Recap
Freedom Christian 2019 Guard Jamahri Harvey: He suffered a hand injury during the 2nd game of the day but showed the toughness as he continued to play through it. He’s 6’4 with a long wingspan so his ability to score over smaller guards was on display for a good amount of the day.
Fairmont HS 2018 Guard Derrick Arnette: He brings the energy and toughness for the squad on the defensive end of the floor. He has played on the varsity squad for quite a few years now so he understands what will be needed from him and others for the squad to be successful.
Fairmont HS 2018 Guard Corey Addison: Cory provides a nice amount off the scoring for the squad, he can get his own offense going but also puts others in good positions for success.
Village Christian 2019 6’6 Forward Khuath Gatkuoth: One of the best players at the event, he literally did what he wanted when he wanted and was a nightmare matchup for opponents. He can score from inside and out, rebounds it well and plays with a confidence/swagger that you have to love. It’s no surprise that Campbell has already extended an offer and there will only be more schools added before it’s all said and done.
West Columbus 2018 G/F Jake Brownlee: The West Columbus squad was probably one of the most intense teams at the jamboree and Jake was the leader. He was all over the floor on both ends and really made his money inside the paint, scoring through contact and providing extra possessions for his team with offensive rebounds.
Purnell Swett HS 2019 Guard Kyler Page: Kyler is a nice overall looking prospect, he has good ball handling skills and can defend the PG position very well. Plays the game with an edge and toughness that many youngsters these days just don’t have.
