2020 Stock Riser Prospects
Lumberton HS Guard Jordan McNeill: Jordan is a player that I got to see for the first time last year during the Robeson County Shootout, he impressed me greatly during that game with how advanced his game and demeanor was for a freshman. We kept an eye on him this summer as he played very well for WBC Elite and now he’s back for his sophomore season and is doing major damage averaging 21 Points & 7 Rebounds a night.
Farmville Central Guard Justin Wright: Justin spent his freshman year playing alongside VCU Guard Tyler Maye, after Maye graduated, the keys to the car were given to Wright and he has not disappointed. The Jaguars have started off the season at 3-0 and Justin is averaging 20 points per night, as well as a solid amount of steals and rebounds.
Westover HS Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw: He may not have the same numbers as the prior two players but the intrigue and upside to this young man is clear. He’s over 6’6 with long arms, nice athletic ability and is being by one of the top coaches in the state in George Stackhouse who’s staff does a great job developing young talent.
South Central HS Forward Day’ron Sharpe: He is still raw but the sky is the limit of how good he can possible be, he can finish inside above and below the rim as well as protect the paint. At 6’8 he has a nice feel for the game and makes a really nice impact on the defensive end by blocking and altering shots.
Northside-Pinetown Guard Rashod Smith: Our guy Tony Bruton has been on Rashod since Day 1 and he is off to a very good start including a recent 20+ point game that resulted in a win. He’s quick, crafty and athletic, don’t be blinded by his smaller stature, this young man can flat out play.
