Upward Stars Combine Notes
The Upward Stars organization is first class. Their Upward Stars Center hosts many of the nations top events, athletes and teams every year in the their multi-million dollar facility just outside of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Adidas Circuit held their circuit finale at the facility last July during live period.
Yesterday, The Upward Stars held their fall combine and many of their top players from around the Carolinas’ were in attendance. PrepHoopNC’s Justin Byerly was on hand to take in the action.
Dallaz Corbitt2019 F Dallaz Corbitt of Heritage (SC) Brawny built forward scored with back to basket & can step out to hit jumpers.
A 2020 name to watch is Traevon Davis of Lake Marion(SC). Had some electrifying throwdowns. Davis is bouncy and athletic.
Big man PJ Hall, a 2020 forward is a rebounding machine and can score with his back to the basket. He is 6-foot-8 and is playing at defending state champion Dorman High School.
6’8 Aymeric Toussiant of Freedom Christian is a shooting four man. He is able to step out and knock down shots and has as soft touch.
Heritage (SC) has another talented guard in Jakobe Dill. Unsigned senior is a shot maker. Consistently knocked down jumpers.
2019 Chico Carter is a pure PG. Really good in transition and shot it well today. Another one of the tough skilled Team Charlotte guards.
Myles Tate showed why he is #1 in the PrepHoopsSC 2020 class. Does it all. Great scorer. Better Defender. Will be heavily recruited.
Ja’Queze Kirby of Jeff Davis (GA) is an electric athlete. Had some crowd pleasing dunks & shot it from outside all day.
Koby Fulton attacks the rim every chance he gets. Very athletic guard that moves well without the ball.
2018 forward Rashane Duncan of Wade Hampton (SC) is long and athletic, has a good feel in the post. Soft touch.
