Meet The Players: Juice All-Stars
How has the experience been playing with Juice All-Stars and in the Fall League?
Tuynias: It’s been good, I feel I’m getting better as a person and as a player just playing every day, trying to help my teammates out as well to get them better.
A.J: Fall league has been a good experience, this is my first time playing with Juice but it’s been really good with good competition.
Saiquone: It’s been good, this is my first time playing but it’s been good, it’s helped me get out of trouble and things like that.
Do you feel like Fall League helps you guys prepare for the high school season?
Tuynias: I feel like every time I step on the court , I’m staying in shape so there is no offseason , I’m always staying on the court which is always a positive when you’re playing basketball.
A.J: For me it’s good because last year I was playing JV basketball so now playing in this league it has helped me to be able to get used to playing against taller and stronger players, which is what I will have to do when high school the season starts.
Saiquone: It’s helped me a lot because this is my first year playing basketball because I was in alternative school, so now that I’m going to be at Southeast, it’s helping me to get better prepared.
With today being the final day of the league, the team that wants to win the championship will have to win 3 games in a span of a few hours, how do you stay fresh to pull that off?
Tuynias: You just have to get through it and play, just keep going no matter what.
A.J: Go and get you some rest and come back ready to play.
Saiquone: Just have to find some energy and play.
