First Flight HS Team Preview
If you haven’t seen First Flight HS play in the past few years, you are definitely missing out. They play an up-tempo style of basketball that fans love while putting up a large amount of trey balls and knocking down a high percentage. Although they play fast, they are a disciplined squad and are well coached, be on the lookout for this squad to make some noise this year.
First Flight 2020 Guard Dylan Blake: One of the best shooters in the state without a doubt, Dylan has a quick release and moves very well without the ball. His ability to run the PG spot is getting better on a regular basis and although he doesn’t say much, he gives everything he has. He has improved lately in getting to the basket instead of just shooting the deep ball, truly has a chance to be special, colleges looking to add prospects.
First Flight 2020 Guard Tyler Witt: Knocked down shots from deep, got his team into their sets and made some very good passes. Still young and learning but has a chance to be a very nice player before it’s all said and done.
First Flight HS 2020 Zyon Demers: With a team that shoots as many trey balls as first flight does you need a player to crash the boards and do the dirty work. That’s exactly what he provides for his team, he came up with quite a few offensive rebounds and even though he’s only 6’1 he battled hard.
First Flight HS 2020 Jordan High: At 6’1, he is one of the taller players on the squad and he is getting better each time we get the chance to see him play. He brings the effort that the system needs from every player and will be an asset to the squad when they need a boost of energy.
