Final Notes: Triangle Fall League
Team Skills 2018 Forward Jaamek Hester ( Southeast Raleigh HS)- The big man played very well in their quarterfinal game, he did just about everything you want your big man to do. He finished inside, above and below the rim with layups and put back dunks. On the defensive end of the court he was just as impressive with how active he was and the amount of blocked shots he had. It seemed as if as the game went on he got more comfortable and performed better. He is still somewhat raw but with his height, motor and ability to block shots, there will always be a spot for him on the floor at the high school level and even in certain college programs.
Juice All-Stars 2020 Forward Saiquone Harris (Southeast HS) – The type of player that you love to have on your team, he plays as hard, if not harder than anybody on the floor. He understands how to use his height and proper positioning to rebounding the ball at a high rate, also can knock down shots which allows him the opportunity to stretch the floor.
Tristars 2018 Guard Dominic Johnson (Roseville HS): He almost put down one of the plays of the day with a poster dunk on a defender, even though he missed the attempt, it caught the crowd’s attention without a doubt. He has a nice wingspan, is very athletic and knows how to get to his spots on the floor with minimal dribbling.
Juice All- Stars 2019 Forward Kharye Cayne: Potential is the word that comes to mind as soon as you watch this young man play, he is 6’8 with very long arms and nice athletic ability. He can make plays above the rim offensively and defensively and will only get better once he continues to add muscle as well as becoming a bit more coachable. Overall he’s a very interesting prospect who has plenty of time to put it all together.
