Cape Fear CC Standouts
Soph Guard Terrance Ward: A silky smooth guard that kept defenders guessing throughout, nice height for a guard that understands how to easily get into the gaps of the defense.
Soph Guard Zaqwaun Matthews: D1s have been offering this young man and it didn’t take long to see why, he has a gift for scoring the ball, nice athletic ability and good acceleration. He doesn’t have many issues with getting his shot off against different types of defenders.
Soph Guard Alston Davis: Another impressive athlete that is very intriguing from the wing spot, he’s 6’6 and plays the game on his toes. He showed lateral quickness when defending guards and rebounded the ball well from the wing.
Frosh Guard Jalen Cameron: Jalen is a name that you should know of, he was an impressive player in high and during the AAU seasons. He is still finding his way as a college player but will be one that will only get better as he gets more comfortable.
Soph Guard Kwe Parker: Kwe came on to the national scene as a youngster, mostly due to his athletic ability. Our latest time seeing him was a difference version, he played the PG for Cape Fear and performed well, and he scored, facilitated and defended well.
Frosh Forward Eric Fox: Eric is a player that we know very well, he came to East NC Fab 40 Camp and is a player that is very skilled who will just need to add muscle to his frame. He can shoot the ball well from deep, make plays from the high post and challenge/block shots.
Soph Guard Shaft Parker: Shaft has taken the time to change his body in a major way, he’s cut down on weight, got into great shape and has worked hard improving his game. He can knock down the deep ball at a high rate and also can get to the cup, will be a player that colleges should watch closely.
