Triangle Challenge Fall League has begun!
As many of you already know the Triangle Challenge Summer League has been a successful league in the summer over the past few years, teams from around the area come in and compete for bragging rights, awards and exposure. Now that the summer has come and gone, it’s now time for the Fall League and it’s a league that we are excited about stopping in to see without a doubt. Some of the teams that are feature in the league this fall are: Juice All-Stars (NC), Grace Christian, NC Red Storm, NC Cavs, Royal Knights, Next Level from Wilmington and many others.
What’s the purpose of Fall League?
These teams get the opportunity to come in and play in an organized setting, while working on their game, staying in shape and learning how to play with some of their teammates that they will be playing with this upcoming basketball season. Many times we see during the first few weeks of the season that certain teams struggle with finding the right chemistry and so on. Well playing in this league helps teams to not have that issue, instead they can work and figure out some of the issues that they may be having early on prior to the basketball season.
What’s The Schedule?
Game are played each Saturday in September and October, this past weekend, play began at 10am and the last game was scheduled to begin at 4pm. This gives you, the fan, a great opportunity to see some good high school basketball on a Saturday and even the chance of checking out your favorite team before anybody else does. As usual we must give a huge shout out to Jawann Baker for putting together something special for the community once again. He is constantly doing things for the youth to stay productive and to help them reach success, the city of Raleigh truly has benefited from the labor of Mr. Baker. Make sure you all go out at least for one Saturday and support the league, there is a high amount of talent as usual and a great opportunity to show the kids support!
