Tim Martin’s The Process Camp Prospects
Tim Martin brought his “The Process” workout regiment to Easley, South Carolina over the weekend and worked out some of the Team South Carolina/SC Raptors players. The two-day event was full of skill work, 3-3 games, 1-1 games, individual workouts and film breakdown. Here are some of the players that stood out at the two-day event. Tim trains former SC Raptor Jawun Evans who is now with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Process-Tim Martin6’0 2021 G Bryce McGowens-The younger brother of Hargrave (VA) guard Trey McGowens, Bryce is already 6-foot and is one of the best shooters in the area. He has a good handle and his most impressive asset of his game is his basketball IQ. He is starting to get it when it comes to coming off screens and consistently knocking down mid-range to three-point line shots. He is athletic and can get by defenders with his ball handling.
6’7 2019 F Donta King-The small forward has a soft touch and can score down low. He is good with moving without the ball and cutting to the basket for easy buckets. He is a big rebounder and has big hands. He has offers from USC-Upstate and Coastal Carolina.
5’7 2022 G Savion Brown-Brown is still growing but at 5’7 right now was still a player who did not back down during the event. He is a good shooter and knows how to move without the ball. He will get up in your face on defense and does a good job of talking to help.
6’3 2021 G Kameron Little-One of the most athletic players at the event, Litte has a nice overall game. He can finish plays at or above the rim, he has long arms and is hard to stay in front of. He will be attending Legacy Charter this season and may see some time on the varsity team.
