September Live Period
The live period kicks off again on Saturday September 9th. High School programs will have open gym sessions where college coaches are allowed to come and watch future prospects. This is a good setting to watch prospects go through drills, run plays, and watch them without it being a game setting and get a good idea of the things that coaches are wanting out of prospective recruits.
We take a look at some of the colleges that have already committed to coming and seeing some of the best players in North Carolina.
Head Coach Phil Martelli of St. Joe’s will be in on Tuesday to see 2018 Jayden Gardner of Heritage HS/Team Loaded NC.
ECU will be in Monday to see 2019 Caleb Stone-Carrawell and Michigan will be in on Wednesday to see 2019 Wendell Moore of Cox Mill HS.
Boston College and Santa Clara have scheduled in-home visits with Providence Day/Team Loaded NC 2018 guard Trey Wertz.
Louisville, UNC, Florida, Texas, NC State and Georgetown will all be in this fall for 2020 wing Silas Mason of Smith HS/Team Felton.
ECU will be on Monday and Murray State is scheduled next week for 2018 forward Jayden Gardner of Team Loaded NC.
Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, NC State, Maryland, Marquette, Santa Clara, and High Point have committed to coming by Cox Mill HS to watch Rechon Black, Wendell Moore and Caleb Stone-Carrawell.
