Prospect Spotlight: 2018 Lance Madison (Video)
Lance Madison is an example of the depth in the Louisiana’s 2018 class and he’s gone unnoticed for too long. He has good length at the guard spot and uses his 6-foot-3 frame well, especially on the defensive end of the floor.
When he’s locked in, Madison will really get into ball handlers and force them to make plays. His on-ball pressure usually leads to a few turnovers throughout the game and he’s also a sneaky athlete who gets up for big-time blocks.
Offensively, Madison can score from all three levels but is most capable as a driver finishing around the rim or finding teammates. He had an impressive summer with Warren Easton as well as his grassroots team Bo McCalebb Select and recently received interest from Loyola University.
Madison has a cumulative GPA of 2.5 but is carrying a 3.8 so far this semester. He could be a really good fit for a sub-Division I program. Here’s a look at the 6-foot-3 prospect’s summer highlights, which includes the Prep Hoops Louisiana Expo in late August.
