Prephoops 250 Expo: Class of 2020 Standouts Part 2
Knightdale HS Wing Isaiah Griffin (6’5″ 2020) – Isaiah is a very intriguing prospect, he’s young but has a nice amount of upside, his IQ for the game is high and he has a nice natural feel for the game. He can score the ball inside using his height and strength but also can step outside and play since he is a good ball handler as well as a knock down perimeter shooter. On the defensive end he’s versatile enough to be able to defend a big but also has the lateral quickness to defend wings.
Chapel Hill High School Guard Isaac Sinclair (6’0″ 2020)- Isaac had a very impressive showing at camp, as soon as the day begun he made the crowd say oh and ah with his lethal left to right crossover move that he used to get separation from defenders. He shot the ball very well from deep and made some outstanding reads and passes, very impressed with this young man and his potential.
Trask HS Guard Jajuan Carr (5’10, 2020)- Jajuan is what I would call a silent assassin , he doesn’t say much, you won’t get a lot of emotion out of him , but he comes to play each time he steps on the floor. He is one of the better rebounding guards that we saw all day long, what was the impressive about him was his attitude. He didn’t get as many touches as he should have gotten but he kept on playing hard and playing the game the right way.
New Life Christian Guard Chance Poole (6’’ 2020)- He is an old school type of Point Guard or what some would call a ‘‘facilitator’’, he looks to get all his teammates involved before trying to get his own offense. Throughout the day he faced different types of defenders and didn’t have much of an issue handling pressure and kept his turnovers low.
