Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: Top Missouri Players
Here is a look at some of the top Missouri players from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo in Kansas City:
Tyson Cathy, 6’5, Liberty North
Cathy was among the top interior players to attend the Kansas Top 250 Expo this weekend. He has good size at 6’5 and a strong frame and holds his own at the defensive end where he is a good shot blocker and rebounder. He battled some of the better post players at the event, including Kansas’ Hunter Schneider and Siler Tschirhart, among others.
Al Ba, 6’6, F, 2019, Rockhurst
A long, rangy interior player, Ba has a lot of raw potential with good athleticism and an emerging skill set. He holds his own inside against bigger, stronger players, and has some skill with the ability to handle the ball a little and shoot from the outside.
Mikel Henderson, 5’11, PG/SG, 2019, Lee’s Summit North
One of several good guards for the Broncos Henderson is coming into his own as a player. He has terrific speed and quickness with the ball and is tough to keep out of the lane. He had several big games on Saturday and showed the ability to make plays.
Daylan Ridgnal, 6’5, F, 2019, Rockhurst
An undersized forward who grinds and scraps in the paint. Brings some versatility to the court, especially at the defensive end of the floor, but mostly he is a garbage player who gets buckets in the paint by outworking his opponents.
Josh Kilpatrick, 6’4, F, 2020, Grain Valley
A pleasant surprise at Saturday’s Kansas Top 250 Expo, Kilpatrick has some size and a solid, all-around game. He does a good job of getting easy buckets around the rim and can put the ball on the floor.
