Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: MVP
The first annual Most Valuable Player was an easy selection as Blue Valley big man Siler Tschirhart was a runaway selection for the honors.
A strong, physical interior player, Tschirhart is a bruiser in the paint with an old-school mentality for post play. With a relative lack of big men in the field on Saturday, there weren’t many teams that could handle the Blue Valley big man in the paint as Tschirhart had his way with most opponents.
A 6’8 2019 power forward, Tschirhart has an improving mid-range game with a good form and balance, but he is at his best as an old-school back-to-the basket post player. The team he played in Saturday’s opening game had no answer for him in the paint and he finished with 15 points in the first half alone and finished with 29.
