Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: Class of 2019 Forwards
Here are some of the top 2019 forwards who competed at last weekend’s Prep Hoops Expo in Overland Park, Kansas.
6’5” Dalen Ridgnal-Wright from Rockhurst was one of the best big men at the event. Dalen is a hustler who grabs rebound after rebound on both ends of the court. He can shoot the 3 ball, but really excels at about 15 ft. Dalen also is a big time shot blocker. If he’s not able to block the shot, he will at least affect in some way.
6’8” Siler Tschirhart from Blue Valley has great size and knows how to use it. Siler is great at running the floor especially when he is rewarded with easy buckets. Siler outshines other bigs with his great footwork down low. Also a great rebounder and is strong with the ball.
6’5” Jake Potthoff from Shawnee Mission South can play and guard any position. Although he’s not the strongest, he makes up for it with his quickness and basketball IQ. He can knock down the outside shot and is very versatile.
6’5” Jarin Koehler from El Dorado is a big man that has some good range. Jarin can score with the best down in the post, but also has a smooth stroke from about 15 ft. He is a hard nose player who hustles after loose balls and runs the court very well.
6’4” Dale Talley III from Shawnee Mission Northwest is right around that forward/guard talk, but can play any position. If Dale is left open from anywhere on the court, he will knock down the shot. He does a good job of getting his teammates involved and runs the court very well.
