Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: Class of 2018 Guards
Here are some of the top 2018 guards who were present at last weekend’s Prep Hoops Expo in Overland Park, Kansas.
6’0” Javon Reliford from Labette County is a solid guard who handles the ball well. What he’s best at is scoring the ball. Javon has a quick trigger and pretty much unlimited range.
5’10” Caleb Jordan from Sacred Heart is small but very quick. He’s very solid on the defensive end whether he’s on or off the ball. Caleb also shoots the ball pretty well whether he’s getting to the bucket or pulling up.
6’1” Kelyn Bolton from Shawnee Mission East is a shooter. Kelyn has a smooth stroke and was knocking down 3’s throughout the day. He’s also a smart basketball player. Made the extra pass if needed and didn’t turn the ball over.
6’2” Terrion Seddens from Van Horn is a solid guard who can really play anywhere on the court. Very athletic and but really shined on the defensive end. With his great size, he wasn’t easy to get by and rebounded very well.
6’1” Deron McDaniel from Lee’s Summit is a scorer. Deron had plenty of moments where he shined whether it was knocking down a pull up jumper or hitting a step back 3. He’s great with the ball and can create his own shot.
5’11” Dasani Giardina from Highland Park is a quick guard who can dish it and score the ball. Streaky shooter, but when he gets hot, he’s not missing. Dasani also made up for his size with great hands on defense.
