NC Dynamic Duo’s Part 2
Greenfield School 2018 Guard Coby White & Wing Elijah McCadden: Coby White made a pledge to the UNC Tarheels early on and just recently Elijah has committed to Georgia Southern to play out his college career. White was named the NC Gatorade Player of the Year Award last year by putting up some absolutely ridiculous numbers throughout the year. Elijah continued to play better as the year went on, he is a very nice pickup for GSU as he can play on the wing but also has the skills to move over to the PG spot.
Northwood Temple 2019 Guard John Michael Wright & 2018 Bigs Ian Steere & Manny Bates: When you have two big men that are going to high major programs, you have to extend the dynamic duo from two to three. Ian Steere is a power forward that has a body that already looks as if he is a grown man, he’s athletic and can affect plays on both sides of the floor. Fresh off a visit to Georgetown, Bates is a top 100 prospect in the 2018 class, he can rebound and block shots at a high rate and has improved at a dramatic rate. Last but not least is new transfer Guard John Michael Wright, Wright recently received an offer from Hampton University and has interest from numerous MM and HM programs. Wright can score the ball with ease, handles pressure well, gets after it on the defensive end and plays with high intensity.
Providence Day School 2018 Guards Devon Dotson & Trey Wertz: These two youngster have been doing damage at PDS for the past few years. During the summer we saw Dotson continue to play at an extremely high rate with Team Charlotte on the UA circuit as some of the top high majors continue to pursue him for his services. Trey Wertz did his work with Team Loaded on the Adidas Circuit with is recruitment steadily climbing as he played well. Don’t be surprised to see the two youngsters but up major numbers for Providence Day as they look to make another run at the 3A State Title.
