League predictions – Black Hills Wolves
Black Hills HS, Wolves, Tumwater, Washington.
Head Coach: Jeff Gallagher. Last season Black Hills finished the season with an overall record of 11-10. In their division, they finished 6-4, which was low when compared to previous year’s success. Playing in the 2A Evergreen conference, the traditional teams do not have a lot of size and usually do not host a roster of super athletes like a Wilson or Mt Tahoma out of Tacoma, Washington. They do however; have some good pieces that worked pretty well together this past Saturday against the LaSalle High School out of Yakima, Washington. Black Hills is quick, feisty and can shoot the lights out.
Black Hills Wolves key returnees:
Nate Kindell, 5’9″, PG, 2018.
Nate is a sharpshooter who can knock downs 3s and score from all 3 levels. He can handle the ball and apply heavy ball pressure.
Simon Lazar, 5’10”, SG, 2018.
Simon is a very explosive and an excellent floor general who gets in the paint. In addition, he is a very disruptive defender.
Hunter Grabski, 6’7″, WF/WG, 2018.
Hunter is very athletic with a great wingspan, who is an excellent defender and can score when he wants from all three positions.
Noah Brewer, 6’4″, W, 2018.
Noah is a wide body wing who can create space off the dribble. He is a very good catch and shoot type of players. He is a tenacious defender and a willing rebounder. Ball handling and 3 point shooting should his points of emphasis during the off-season
Key newcomers include:
Ethan Loveless, 6’1″, SG, 2020.
Ethan is a very big stock riser this spring and is very strong and tough. He can get to the rim in traffic and finish or dish. Ethan can shoot from deep and is a very good and aggressive defender.
Garrett Glenn, 5’11”, CG, 2019.
Garrett is a major talent and can score in bunches. His 3-point shot is excellent and he can attack the rim finishing with an assortment of shots. Garrett has a huge upside and he could breakout this season as a junior
