Where Should I go? 3 Open Gyms that Colleges should attend on Mon and Tues!
It’s open gym season , so of course colleges of all levels are looking for what may be the best place to stop in and see some talent, well here are some schools that colleges should definitely stop in to see players.
- Trinity Christian– As usual the Crusaders have a roster with quite a bit of Mid Major and High Major talent and it would be wise for schools to stop in. Trinity will have their College Day, tomorrow at 4pm at John D Fuller Rec Center. 2019 Prospects Joey Baker & Greg Gantt are two players that are HM without a doubt while 2019 Guard Audiese Toney has collected MM offers and HM interest. Point Guard Talton Jones has an offer from Fayetteville State University at this point and holds interest from numerous Low Major and Mid –Major programs, colleges should definitely stop in and check out their college day.
- Village Christian- The Knights are the back to back State Champs for NCISAA at the 2A division and have reloaded once again. They have picked up MM/HM prospect Junub Char, who is a 6’5 2018 Guard that can score in multiple way. Also they have picked up 6’6 Wing Khuath Gatkuoth who is gaining D1 interest to go along with their two big men from last year. College coaches at the D1 level should definitely drop to Village Christian to check out some of the talent they have.
- New Life Christian- For programs that are looking to get a head start on the 2020 recruiting class, coaches should stop in to New Life to see the future talent they have. Point Guard Reggie Walton & Wing Reggie Raynor are both talented 2020 youngsters, while Dahaun Jones and Chance Poole are 2020 players that are on the rise. For JC & D2 programs looking at seniors, 6’5 Forward Arshon King is a player that you will need to drop in and see, New Life holds their open gym tomorrow and on Tuesday.
