A Closer Look At Under-the-Radar 2019 Prospects
Michael Fowler 6’8 Forward Greensboro Day-Recently received his first D1 offer from Hampton University, still a raw player but as has nice height and potential. Playing under outstanding coaching during the high school and summer time season he will continue to improve and has a chance to be special.Has an offer from ECU. Providence has been in touch recently.
Shawn Walker 6’3 F Wesleyan Christian Boo Williams-True PG that understands how to get everyone involved while getting his own offense going, has a very long wingspan and nice height for a PG. his IQ for the game is average without a doubt, the son of a D1 coach and you can clearly tell by the way he runs the show for his team.
Nick Brown 6’1 G Westchester Uses his IQ to impact the game in a major way, he’s not the strongest and not the tallest but he does everything he can to help his team win. He what we would call an annoying defender, he’s constantly applying pressure and causing havoc on Defense.
DaQuan George 6’5 W Shelby HS-Role player for his high school team but will continue to get better as time goes on. Always puts the team first, no matter if he’s playing major minutes or not he’s always engaged.
RJ Wilson 6’7 W Leesville Road-Has a chance to be a special player before it’s all said and done, can play the wing or stretch forward position and be productive with his size and skillset. Nice ceiling of potential, knows what it takes to be apart of a winning team and culture.
Emery Simmons 6’2 SG Village Christian-Strong guard with nice potential, can shoot the deep ball well, penetrates and embraces contact when getting to the basket. Was a spark plug off the bench for VCA this year when teammates got in foul trouble. Under the radar at this point but will find his ways on recruitment boards soon.
