Blake Pruitt Working to Expand Recruiting Reach (2019)
Blake Pruitt (2019 G) knows the game. It isn’t about just being good at basketball. You have to be good at basketball at the perfect times.
Remember Blake Pruitt transferred to The Baylor School to challenge himself in practice, fight Brentwood Academy for statewide prominence, and expand his recruiting profile.
This week really embodied the mission to attain that third piece of Pruitt’s puzzle.
“Alabama-Huntsville (D2) watched us yesterday, and I played great,” said Blake Pruitt. “I was not missing from threes.”
Blake Pruitt was running with Niko Simpkins (2018), Wiley Pippenger (2019), Beyuan Hendricks (2019), and Baylor School Assistant Coach Jason Clark.
Proving he can do more than shoot is integral to Pruitt’s development. While he adds upper body strength and increasing quickness, Blake Pruitt continues to improve his outside touch.
Pruitt has done well to get his name out to college coaches. He is active in his pursuit on social media and likes to share information, videos of his game, and even take unofficial visits.
