Rodney Henderson Rodney Henderson 6'1" | PG Tyner Academy | 2025 State TN III earned his way to the free throw line very early, but he did miss both. The Tigers ran a slick clear-out set for Rodney on the following play and he got a good look though he missed short.
Later in the first half, Henderson finished a beautiful floater off the backboard from an angle. His first-step quickness was always above average. He used it expertly on numerous offensive possessions.
A couple of potential breaks could have been more successful if the Tiger wings were faster. Rodney looked to push the ball with 3-on-2 and 2-on-2 in the first half, but his wings did not outpace the defenders to make it a true threat.

Early Saturday, after a frustrating Friday evening loss, the Tennessee Tigers delivered an exceptional performance. Gunnar Lewis Gunnar Lewis 5'11" | PG C.P.A. | 2025 State TN forced tough shots from the opposition throughout the entire first half. The starting point guard hit a tricky corner three-pointer to open the lead up even larger. At one point the Tennessee Tigers led 30-13!
Chris Munyika shoveled a pass forward to Rodney Henderson Rodney Henderson 6'1" | PG Tyner Academy | 2025 State TN III. The electric open-floor guard, Henderson III casually drew the lone remaining defender with his dribble and then lofted an alley-oop to the backside of the rim. Roberson elevated, caught the ball, and laid the ball in for two. The lovely fastbreak gave the Tigers their 43rd point. They never looked back from that enormous first-half lead.
