2017 Chick-Fil-A Classic (NC Teams)
The 16th annual Chick-Fil-A Classic will be held December 20, 21, 22 & 23. All games will be played at Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, South Carolina. The Classic is one of the premier events during the Christmas holiday. Here is a list of the teams participating this year.
*Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia)
*Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nevada)
*Prolific Prep of Napa Christian (Napa, California)
*The Rock School (Gainesville, Florida)
*Providence Day (Charlotte, North Carolina)- The Chargers are led by one of the top point guards in the country in Devon Dotson. Dotson is considering UCLA, Kansas, Florida, Clemson and a few others as college destinations. He is a true battle-proven point guard who spent the summer playing with Team Charlotte and helped them to a runner-up finish on the Adidas circuit. Trey Wertz is another promising prospect for Providence Day. Wertz has a couple ACC offers in Clemson and Boston College and is one of the top shooters in the state. Isaac Suffren is a 6-foot-4 guard who recently took an official visit to Wofford. He is one of the most athletic players in the state.

*Cannon (Concord, North Carolina)-Cannon features PrepHoops Top 100 wing Jairus Hamilton, a 6-foot-8 chiseled player. He is long and athletic and has offers from North Carolina, Kansas, California, Tennessee, Duke, Ohio State, Maryland, Florida State and Wake Forest among others. 6-foot-5 counterpart Qon Murphy is scheduled to take a visit to IUPUI this weekend and is strongly considering the Indiana school. He is an athletic wing that can score the ball.
*Westtown (West Chester, Pennsylvania)
*Cox Mill (Concord, North Carolina)- The defending NCHSAA 3-A state champs feature PrepHoopNC’s #3 2018 recruit in Rechon Black, a long and athletic point forward. He is capable of handling ball-handling duties as well as playing on the wing. He has a scoring mentality. 2019 Wendell Moore is ranked as the #1 recruit in PrepHoopNC’s 2019 class and is 6-foot-5. He can play the guard spot and a little wing. He is a member of Team USA’s U16 team that competed this summer. He has offers from North Carolina, South Carolina, Syracuse, Florida, Wake Forest, NC State, Maryland, Washington and Georgia.
