Louisiana Top250 Expo: “Jumpin Out The Gym” Best Dunkers
Jamiree Williams 6’3 G Central Lafourche 2018
Pound for pound, Williams has my money for best dunker in the state. He had the most impressive dunk of the weekend, and it wasn’t even in the game. While warming up pre-game, he threw himself a lob that he put between his legs!
Tylan Pope 6’5 F Franklington 2019
Pope had the loudest performance of the day, and his rim-rattling dunks were a big part of that. He was throwing them down in transition, in traffic, off rebounds, he didn’t care. If you were in between Tylan and the goal, you were in trouble.
De’Antray Hughes 6’5 F Edna Karr 2019
Hughes was another kid that had a loud day, and he had people talking around him. He was able to get up and throw down some big dunks in transition, leaving spectators and opponents alike in awe.
Xavier Robertson 6’5 F Woodlawn 2018
Robertson is a throwback bully on the court, and his dunks are no different. He is able to throw down with some absolute power, and his abilities got some of the college coaches in the building talking about him.
Nigel Jones 6’4 G Broadmoor 2018
Jones is a highly versatile player, and his dunks are just a part of what he does well, but he is capable of throwing down some big dunks. He had a nice reverse dunk while driving baseline that was really impressive.
Moses Ngodock 6’7 F Northshore 2019
Ngodock was the biggest player in the building, and he was definitely capable of throwing down some big dunks. When he get out as a ball handler in transition, he can throw down some powerful one handed cock-back jams.
