Live Weekend Recap (third weekend)
Lots happened last weekend, both team-wise and with individual prospects. It was the third of a three weekend stretch of live periods, so it was expected that we’d have a busy one, full of Iowa happenings. Here, we’ll break down all the excitement into one neat little article.
Blake Brinkmeyer
The Valley power forward was the big name last week from Iowa. He nabbed three additional Division I offers while in Kansas City at the Hardwood Summer Shootout, from Southeast Missouri State, Air Force and Indiana State. Brinkemyer now has five Division I offers (North Dakota, Northern Iowa the other two).
@BrinkmeyerBlake with another offer! I have told many he had one of the top 3 July's of any kid Kingdom has ever had! https://t.co/yGQ86LVzXl

DJ Carton
For the third weekend in a row, Bettendorf point guard DJ Carton has found himself in this article. This weekend it was an SEC school, Missouri, and a Big 12 program, Kansas State, which decided to get involved and extend the 6-foot-1 rising junior offers. The Quad City Elite product now holds 10 Division I offers, all were attained this offseason.

Xavier Foster
The 2020 phenom played with Pure Prep in Las Vegas thisd weekend and was turning plenty of hheads in the process. Maybe it’s his 6-foot-10 frame, paired with a smooth jumper. The 7-foot-5 wing-span doesn’t hurt either. Illinois was so impressed they offered the Oskaloosa forward. He now has four high-major offers (Iowa, Creighton, Iowa State are the others).

Corvon Seales
After picking up a slew of offers the last couple of weekends from several D2s and a D1 program (IUPUI), this North Scott 6-foot-3 guard now has JuCos getting involved. It’s Kirkwood which became the latest school to offer the Quad City Elite product. Seales also picked up additional D2 offers from Missouri Western State and Wisconsin-Parkside. He’s now got seven total offers.
