CP3 Rising Stars Camp: Team Pelicans
Guard Cyncier Harrison: There is a stereotype that all left handed players can shoot the ball well, well Cyncier definitely fits that mold as he is a lefty that can flat out stroke it. He can knock down the deep ball with a nice efficiency but also showed that he has a dangerous midrange game, knows how to score the ball in many ways.
Wing/Forward Johnathan Lawson: A nice looking wing prospect, at 6’6 with an impressive skillset you can see the potential coming from him. He’s a youngster from Memphis TN and plays his AAU ball with Team Penny and really impressed with stepped up in the 2nd half with their matchup against the Hornets to defend their best player. He played outstanding defense and forced his opponent into turnovers.
Guard Dylan Garrington: Was a spark plug for his team when they really needed In the 2nd half, he tallied up 8 quick points by knocking down 2 trey balls and a layup in a span of less than 2 mins. He’s only 5’5 but he shows no fear on the court and plays hard.
Forward Noah Alfred: Noah wasted no time by making his presence when the game started, he knocked down shots from the short corner, rebounded, and battled inside. He has a nice mixture of grit and skill that makes me believe that he can eventually turn into a special player.
Wing Oliver Farris: Another nice looking young prospect, at 6’4 with a smooth stroke he caught the attention of many. He does a very good job of moving without the ball and scoring without dribbling, does a good job of keeping it simple.
Center Christian Dacosta: He’s 6’7, 215 pounds with a very raw skillset but good potential, as long as he continues to work, stays coachable and be ready to learn, he can develop into a nice player.
